SK Racing Team Profile

SK Racing was established in 2003 by racing driver Shane Kelly, who felt that he could further his career and provide greater value for money for sponsors by driving for his own racing team rather than driving for established big budget teams, or cheaper lesser equipped and lesser talented teams. Team Manager Phil Kelly Is responsible for team coordination, logistics, contracts, finance and legal affairs. Mechanic Phil Stoodley Is responsible for all aspects of preparing the race car for testing, qualifying and racing. Mechanic Steve Ayres Assists with race car preparation at the circuit and is responsible for tyres and pit signaling. PR & Photographer Paul Costin Team Photographer and media liaison. Paul submits press releases and photos to newspaper, radio & TV. Race Engineer Ian Smith Is responsible for all areas of race car tuning, including data acquisition and simulation, test and race engineering. Mechanic Nigel Dunford Is responsible for engine building & maintenance. At the circuit, Nigel assists with race car preparation. Sponsor Liaison Neil Etheridge Assists with all aspects of acquiring and maintaining sponsorship, including entertaining guests at the circuit. © SK Racing 2004-2007
